About
My name is Luke Mauriello, and I’m currently a junior at UNC Chapel Hill studying advertising and public relations. I’ve interned in New York the past two summers, working in PR at both Golin and Genicos. In that time, I’ve honed my writing skills and gained invaluable industry experience. I’m eager to apply what I’ve learned to the advertising industry and expand my understanding beyond the classroom.
My internships showed me nothing gets done alone in this industry; life is a group project. I think I’d fit great in a group of hardworking, creative types. While I’m yet to work in ad creative, I’m confident that my desire to learn and ability to work will help me excel. While I don’t expect to be directly involved in creative strategy, I would love to be a fly on the wall in those meetings. I know I have a lot to contribute and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to do so.
